Dell reveals all-glass Crystal designer LCD panel. The widely-rumored sub-notebook MacBook may appear at MacWorld 2008, and may include a Bluray-disc or combo BD/HD-DVD player. Apple files patent for an iMac-like docking station/momitor combo, where the notebook computer is slid into the side of the display, allowing access to all ports. TechCrunch says NetFlix / LG set-top box won't sell. Archos will soon launch TV+, an Apple TV competitor, and will record TV in addition to downloading media from Archos's portal. Robert Scoble banned from Facebook after alpha testing Plaxo's unreleased Pulse feature to pull Facebook friend's email address. Crucial announces the Crucial SSD, which includes a desktop-sized mounting kit as well as a USB connection kit.
